In October of this year the resident of Tyumen was condemned for purchase of a lighter with the built-in photo video camera on one of Internet resources. The buyer was accused under article of Art. 138.1 of the criminal code of Russian Federation (illegal acquisition of the special technical tool intended for secret receipt of information) and sentenced to 1 year to 6 months of restriction of freedom.

Now the procurator of Uvat district of the Tyumen region decided to visit the same online store, having checked a resource for existence of espionage devices (the name of shop is not reported), writes "Roskomsvobod". As a result of "raid" law enforcement authorities did not find espionage lighters, but found espionage hours with the built-in photo video camera.

According to the legislation of Russia free implementation of devices of this kind is prohibited in the territory of the country. For acquisition espionage ustroysv criminal liability is provided. So, the federal law "About information, information technologies and on information protection". As for the gadgets prohibited to sale, it "there can be technical means which are camouflaged under objects (devices) of other functional purpose, including household; which detection owing to a malogabaritnost, a zakamuflirovannost or technical parameters is possible only by means of special devices".

By results of check of shop of the procurator took Uvat district court with the requirement of prohibition of information posted on the website. The corresponding application was granted by court then the judgment has to be sent to Roskomnadzor. By rules, department will enter the address of shop in the list of the domain names containing information which distribution is forbidden in Russia.
