Google began to test an input method in accounts with use of the mobile phone and without need to print passwords. As soon as the user becomes authorized on the mobile device, he can log in the account on any computer, confirming an input by means of the smartphone. The screen has to be password-protected for an unblocking to avoid unauthorized authorization in case of theft of the device.

Users will have opportunity to select an authorization method: standard password or new method. Google held the development presentation: "We invite small user group for testing of an input in Google accounts without password. "Pizza", "password" and "123456" — your days are numbered".

Passwords "123456" and "password" got to a rating of the simplest passwords of 2014 according to SplashData. But development of Google is necessary not to avoid selection of passwords — for an input in the account all of them will be still necessary. Authorization on the smartphone will help fight against a phishing when users drive in logins and passwords into the forms externally absolutely identical to authorization forms on the known websites.

The method of authentication will become one more tool of safety for users of Google. Now at Google — one of the most reliable authentication systems: it is two-factor authentication with the confirmation code sent to the mobile phone of the user. Other tool — the Authenticator app application, it generates a unique code when the user logs in on the website of Google or other web services. In April, 2015 the company released expansion for Chrome under the name Password Alert Chrome — it tells the user if it enters the password not on the website of Google.

Google follows in the footsteps of the Yahoo company which in October, 2015 announced Yahoo Account Key. Service connects the mobile device with the account of Yahoo and every time when the user tries to log in the account on other device sends automatic notifications.

The instruction of a new method of authorization from Google is published according to the link.
