As the technology is rather new, posts on IoT generally were training. However it is not necessary to refer IoT to category "eternally perspective" — and it was proved once again by the Intel company, having carried out in the middle of December review of devices which are ready to become components of "The Internet of things" already now. possibility of connection of two 4K 60 Hz of monitors through DisplayPort 1.2;

And all this, we will repeat, it is implemented by means of one tiny USB-C connector. It is easy to provide the opportunities given by new technology. Let's tell, a mega-docking station (by the standards of the current performance, but not at the price), capable to turn a portable device into a game platform with decent characteristics. Or external information mediums, faster, than present internal. And many other things, of course. The Thunderbolt 3 specification is published by Intel in the middle of this year, the first implementations in iron exist already now, and mass production of devices will begin with Thunderbolt 3 at the beginning of the next year. And further — absolutely the fairy tale. Approximately in half a year the output of optical Thunderbolt 3 option — the same, but with a cable length up to 60 m will be announced.

It was devoted to the Internet of things, Intel Edison microcomputer, a cloud platform of Microsoft Azure and boundless opportunities which are given to the person by the imagination, commitment and desire to make the world are better. It is about Megakhakatona Intel IoT Russia 2015 who passed in Moscow a week ago, based on a hakspeys "Steel — the Smithy of Technologies".

We decided to join a general dvizhukha and to show what moddingovy body the people who are carried away by this game can make. The Intel company is well-known to professionals the network solutions and products. Some lines develop many years, but in any business there is a place for innovations. Pay attention to a new series of the Intel Ethernet Multi-host Controller FM10000 chips combining in themselves Ethernet the controller and the switch in one body with the advanced functions of processing of packets and support of DPDK. To the controller it can be connected to 36x10G or to 6x100G of ports. Connection to server part happens to the help of PCIe interfaces 4x8-lane PCIe or 8kh4-lane. FM10000 will become a basis for network devices of new generation — miniature and very productive. DPI, control and the analysis of a traffic — here those tasks with which this controller will well cope. As for solutions with long history, I will note one more innovation — the Intel Ethernet Controller X550 controller for two-port network Ethernet of cards of the LAN-on-Motherboard (LOM) format and convergent adapters. Many who see Intel Edison for the first time usually see this module already set on the expansion card Arduino which has the notable size which is not assuming any mobile use. Therefore even does not come to most of developers to mind that Edison can be used in the compact or wearable device. Apparently on a photo, the computing Intel Edison module it is rather small.
