Not so long ago Apple released the musical service, and this event generated discussion in Campfire about how we in Basecamp listen to music. I asked all the same question: "As well as by means of what you listen to music?", in particular, being interested what program and hardware people use and why.

To my astonishment, answers very strongly differed. From the software practically all available means were mentioned. The party an equipment room also strongly varied.

As I offered the new musical notation for beginners

TL; DR: It is a new method of writing of scores for a piano which allows quicker to learn to play popular songs. Traditional scores mean a set of characters, sound ranks and need a lot of things to remember therefore they are difficult to be studied and read.

The new system of the notation uses visual characters and shows an arrangement of fingers and hands on keys. It is necessary to read it from top to down, and each circle shows finger provision (blue — shows fingers of the left hand, and green — right), and color lines allow to understand how it is long necessary to hold a key of clicked.

People composed and listened to music throughout really long time. But always there comes such moment when musical preferences of people change. Sometimes – change cardinally.

In the 1850th years of the lady fainted from delight, listening difficult performed by romantic piano compositions of Franz Liszt [a comment perev: see Listomaniya]. A century later, Elvis Presley in the same way won the female hearts, having imposed simple couplets on three guitar accords. In only several decades after this Kulio headed charts with the song containing sounds of basses on a synthesizer, a rhythm of a snare drum and a vocal, generally in the form of rhythmically read monologue.

Undoubtedly, music changes over time, especially popular too. However it is seldom possible to foresee, how exactly it will change and when.

Interference and beats in physics and music

Wave interference is the phenomenon arising at collision of two waves extending in one environment. Change of a form of the environment which is defined by the resulting influence of two separately taken waves on environment particles is result of wave interference.

If two positive displaced a sound signal, having the identical form, moving towards each other, face in the environment, then it leads to emergence of a new sound signal, with an amplitude twice of the exceeding amplitude of interfering signals. This type of an interference is known as the strengthening interference.
