Modern technologies exceed dreams and ideas of the present day of our ancestors. People without problems communicate with each other even if they live on different sides of the globe. NASA plans the piloted expedition for Mars, ESA — on the Moon. In space and very many different devices work at other planets.

With these devices the stable relation is kept, even New Horizons transfers a large number of information, being from Earth in billions of kilometers. In the forties the last century all this still was impossible, but scientists already took the first steps. So, on January 10, 1946 specialists from the USA recorded the first terrestrial radio signal reflected from the Moon surface. At 11:58 local time (New Jersey) was sent such signal, and in 2,5 seconds its reflection was registered on Earth.

SpaceX is going to put Falcon 9 on a sea platform again

At the end of last year there was what many waited for — the SpaceX company managed to return the first step of the carrier rocket Falcon 9 to Earth. The step managed to be put, and its status allows to use Falcon 9 for the second time. In any case, Ilon Mask reported about it. Now the company is going again to try to put the rocket on a sea platform. Up to this point SpaceX two times tried to make it, and both times — are unsuccessful.

For this start it is going to use Falcon 9 v 1.1, it is the last copy of this version from being available. It was succeeded to put upgraded version of the rocket, with the increased draft. According to representatives of the company, landing to the sea will allow to use less fuel.

The Vietnamese military study the mysterious space spheres which came on a silver platter

On January 2 three metal spheres fell to the maisovy field which is in the territory of the Vietnamese province Yenbay. Military suggested that 45-kilogram spheres can be the space debris which endured falling from an orbit. Incident investigation is conducted.

It is already known that spheres do not contain either explosives, or materials hazardous to health. Military claim that they did not stage any drills or tests in this region of the country. Eyewitnesses tell that they heard a sound like a thunder then spheres came on a silver platter.

On the 3D printer printed the first-ever object from metal of an extraterrestrial origin

The Planetary Resources company one of the first who began to consider seriously a question of mining out of Earth. It is about asteroids and other objects in space where it is possible to find resources, useful to people of Earth. Not just there is a lot of asteroids, and it is a lot of and if to learn to extract minerals from such objects at the responsible price, then the question of providing Earth could be considered as the components, necessary for our civilization, closed.

To attract attention, the company goes on different steps. This time Planetary Resources acted on CES, having provided the metal object printed on the 3D printer. Metal at the same time has an extraterrestrial origin — it was taken from the meteorite which fell in Argentina in prehistoric times. Activity of a black hole can be observed also in the visible range

Astronomers from the Kyoto university encouraged fans of astronomy worldwide. In the work published in the Nature log they showed how it is possible to observe activity of some types of black holes in the visible range by means of the normal telescope.

As the gravitational attraction of a black hole does not allow any radiation to leave limits of the area limited to the horizon of events directly it is physically impossible to observe them. Usually their detection happens thanks to existence around black holes of accretion disks.

In the course of falling of substance in a black hole because of rotation of gases around holes the disk is formed of interstellar gas and dust. Substance of a disk disperses to relativistic velocities and is warmed to millions of degrees because of what radiates in the different ranges. Up to this point scientists looked for radiation from accretion in x-ray and gamma ranges, and also with the infrared range – what normal amateur astronomers were not able to afford.

Life in the Universe: from where it?

In article the hypothesis of a life origin in the Universe is offered. The assumption that the logic of laws of a structure of the world exists out of the Universe, i.e. out of space and time is its cornerstone. The offered hypothesis is unprovable also, as well as the majority of cosmological theories, however it seem to me plausible.

The Universe is a result of a logical output from nothing


We got used that scientific theories are created by people. Justice of theories is confirmed by practice. The part of theories is wrong, the part has narrow range of applicability. However among them there are true theories which are never refuted, and are only specified over time. It is probably possible to carry to them laws of Newton, Euclidian geometry, the object-oriented approach in programming. True theories are created not by people. They are only opened by them. And there were they always, including to the Big Bang.

The main idea of article consists that true theories exist until their opening, exist irrespective of space and time, are identical in all Universes and at their absence. I will explain this assumption.

Space debris and time: visualization of growth of quantity of a kosmolom by years

Stewart Gray, the lecturer from University College London, created video and the interactive visualization allowing to see growth of quantity of space debris around Earth eventually. Everything began with the first artificial satellite which fulfilled the time — "Satellite 1". Eventually the quantity of space debris only increased.

"Satellite 1" was the 58,5-centimeter sphere which generated radio signals. Almost right after its start "Satellite 2", and also "Explorer 1" was launched — here the USA already caused a stir. Since 1961, time of spacewalk of the first piloted spaceship, the situation became uncontrollable — the space debris was multiplied very quickly.

The found black hole can belong to the searched holes of average weight long ago

Astronomers from Colorado State University found an unusual black hole. The object which is in one billion light years from Earth is unique because of almost total absence of the stars surrounding it. Researchers consider that this object can be theoretically predicted black hole of average weight. Today for the present reliable observations of objects of this class were not made.

The black hole is in object of SDSS J1126+2944, representing result of merge of two galaxies. At the center of object there are two black holes, the separated 7000 light years. Apparently, these holes were the central black holes of two galaxies which merged in one earlier. At the same time the quantity of stars in an environment of the second black hole by 500 times exceeds that at the first.

Of course, could happen and so that merge of galaxies led to the fact that one of black holes environments almost completely "deprived" of it. But there is a probability that the small black hole just belongs to a special class of black holes of "the average weight".

Practically at all galaxies in the center there are supermassive black holes. The mass of such hole in the center of our galaxy is estimated at 4 million solar. There are also small black holes, masses about tens of solar. But for the present there are no confirmed data on supervision of black holes of average weight, – from 100 up to one million solar masses, - though their existence is predicted theoretically.

Scientists found out that strong magnetic fields at stars — not a rarity, but the rule

The Australian astronomers from the Sydney university found out that strong magnetic fields are widespread among stars much more, than it was considered earlier. This opening changes ideas of evolution of stars.

"This awfully fascinating and absolutely unexpected opening, - admires the leading author of work, professor Denis Stello [Dennis Stello]. – Earlier was considered that only 5% of stars therefore in models of star evolution existence of a magnetic field falls as insignificant ingredient have strong magnetic fields. This field was considered insignificant for understanding of evolution of stars. Results of our research show that it is time to change this representation".

Scientists received results of researches, having analyzed the data obtained from the telescope Kepler. Work is based on the research of oscillation of stars conducted at the Californian technology university. In research it was shown that star oscillation, or distribution of sound waves in different layers of a star, can be a sign of presence at a star of a strong magnetic field.

It became clear that hundreds of red giants weighing 1,5-2 solar, come into the view telescopes Kepler, possess the signs allowing to draw a conclusion on presence of strong magnetic fields at them.
