The federal consumers union asserts the right to resale of the games Steam in court

The French consumers also call for toughening of responsibility for data leakage

The federal consumers union of France made to Valve the claim, having declared that Steam and terms of service of service violate a number of legitimate rights of citizens of the European Union, including the right to legal resale of the purchased software.

Members of UFC Que-Choisir existing for 64 years (further "Federal consumers union") insist that Valve is obliged to give to users of the Steam service an opportunity at desire to resell legally purchased digital games. Noting that in many online stores certain restrictions for resale of products are provided, the Federal consumers union claims that it is very difficult to understand why it is possible to resell physical disks with games, and prohibition works for digital games. Any judgment prohibiting to resell the purchased games on online flea markets was not made. Moreover, it is remembered, representatives of the European court unambiguously explained that it is allowed to resell the software which is an integral part of video game.

The federal consumers union appeals to a solution of the European court of 2012 concerning resale of the loaded software licensed by the Oracle company. The resolution says: "Does not matter whether the copy of the computer program was made by means of loading from the website of the owner or by means of the material carrier, for example, CD ROM or DVD".

A part of profit — receipts from the companies which purchased a right to use the Angry Cat brand (yes, there is both a patent, and the issued trademark). One of such companies is Grenade Beverage. This company lets out, in particular, Grumppuccino iced coffee, legally (according to the agreement) using an image of an animal. Design chair of 1958

According to the adopted amendments in the copyright law of Great Britain, owners of design things soon should obtain the license to photograph even those objects which belong him. These amendments are already adopted, and only the term of their entry into force is now discussed.

The similar incident is connected with the fact that design things like exclusive furniture and other objects, are protected by copyright. The amendments made to the law in 2013 change period of validity of a copyright: if earlier it proceeded within 25 years from the date of production of a subject, then now it lasts even 70 years after death of the author. It turns out that the typical copyright will receive duration in hundred years, and it is even more. So far it is unknown when the law begins action – some sources claim that it will occur in October, 2016.

In principle to be surprised to rigidity of laws on a copyright in Great Britain already difficult – the exception in the law concerning music which you legally purchased was cancelled quite recently. The exception permitted you to make copies of these musical pieces – and now such copies are regarded as illegal.

1 year, 4 months ago
Let's consider the existing models of optimum allocation of data on nodes of a computer network. As criteria of efficiency we will use the average volume of the sent data on communication lines at request processing and distribution of updates, a total cost of the traffic generated by functioning of a distributed computing system during a unit of time, the operational cost of a network ¹. As an example we will consider model of optimum file allocation on a computer network with criterion of efficiency – the average volume of the sent data on communication lines at request processing and distribution of updates.
